Capabilities

The whole monitoring stack —
in one quiet dashboard.

Multi-protocol checks

HTTP, HTTPS, TCP, ICMP ping, DNS, keyword and SSL certificate monitoring — every check, every layer.

12 alert channels

Email, Slack, Discord, webhooks, Telegram, Microsoft Teams, SMS, voice calls, browser push, Pushover, PagerDuty and Opsgenie. Acknowledge or resolve right from the Slack message.

On-call rotations + escalation

Schedule who carries the pager (daily or weekly, DST-aware). Policies escalate to the next person if the alert isn't acknowledged in N minutes.

SSL & domain expiry

Certificate watch baked in — get warned weeks before a cert or domain registration expires.

Status pages

Custom domains, password-protected private pages, email subscribers, scheduled maintenance windows and a 90-day uptime history grid.

SLA reports + audit log

Branded PDF SLA reports with QR-verifiable URLs for compliance. Append-only audit log of every plan change, role grant, and admin action.

Built for engineers

Public REST API at /docs/api, HMAC-signed outbound webhooks, scoped API tokens, GDPR-compliant data export, two-factor auth.

Multi-region probes

Self-hosted-friendly: deploy probe workers in any region. Verify failures from a second probe before paging — no false alarms.

The interface

Dense, fast, restrained.

No animated gradients. No upsell modals. The dashboard is built for the people who actually look at it at 3 AM.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

How often do you check my monitors?
Free: every 5 minutes. Pro: every minute. Business: every 30 seconds. The escalation engine waits N minutes for an acknowledgement before paging the next person on-call.
Do you offer a free trial?
Free forever for personal use, with 5 monitors. Paid plans include a 14-day Pro trial with no credit card required.
Where are your probes located?
StatusCat ships as a self-hostable Laravel app — you run probes wherever you deploy. The hosted service runs from a single region by default; multi-region verification is available on Business plans for customers who need it.
Can I monitor internal services?
Yes. Use heartbeat monitors — your service pings StatusCat on a schedule, and we alert if it stops checking in.
Is my data exportable?
Always. One-click GDPR JSON export of every monitor, status page, channel, incident, token and team in your account.
